Jacqueline Hunt has more than ten years of public accounting experience and sixteen years of banking experience. She has served in executive positions in an accounting and compliance capacity. She is currently the President of Seagreen Consulting Ltd, Bahamas, a business consultancy firm providing accounting and business advisory services and training.
She was qualified as a Certified Public Accountant under the Georgia State Board of Accountancy. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chartered Accountancy studies from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada and a Master of Arts Degree with speciality in Accounting from New York University, New York. She also holds the International Compliance Association, International Diploma in Compliance. She also is an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Bahamas in the School of Business and Hospitality services and a part-time lecturer at the Bahamas Institute of Financial Services.
She has been a past recipient of the Bahamas Compliance Officer of the year and Bahamas Financial Standards Board professional of the year.
She is a past council member of The Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants [BICA] and past executive of the Bahamas Compliance Association. She has served on the Board of the Bahamas Heart Foundation and Bahamas Red Cross.
